Add multiple products in a single load to a single transaction with a net weight recorded against each product with Mandalay’s Multi Weigh extension product within the Facility Product Suite.
The weight for each product can either be split manually using a percentage split provided by the operator or captured through additional weight capture processes.
Transactions captured as a single weighed product with additional non weighed products recorded with nominal weights can result in inaccurate weight calculations. The problem is that nominal weights are estimated.
The Multi Weigh module offers two ways of capturing the net weight of each product within a transaction.
Multiple Weight CaptureThe weight for each product is captured through an additional weight capture process.
Percentage SplitThe operator estimates the percentage split for each product within a transaction.
Multiple Weight Capture The Multiple Weight Capture option offers accurate reporting where diversion from landfill is required.
Percentage Split The Percentage Split option will allow an operator to estimate the percent split of the net weight across all products within a transaction.
Additional hardware is not required as both weight collection methods occur within the software and utilise existing hardware.
Mandalay will enable the module within your Facility Product Suite subscription along with activating all relevant features to suit your situation.
