The Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) extension product will allow you to automatically identify licence plates of vehicles entering and leaving your facility within the Facility Core Product – Ticketing. It will also allow for some automation of basic ticketing and access control functions.
LPR will link a vehicle to the information required to initiate and complete a transaction within your Facility Core Product – Ticketing.
LPR performs intelligent matching between licence plates and known vehicles.
Automate your access/bypass lane operation based on the licence plate of a vehicle.
It reduces the vehicle list down to only those vehicles that closely match the detected licence plates, making it quicker and easier for the operator to select the right one.
The system will automatically fill in the licence plate instead of an operator manually entering it.
When the required data is linked to the detected vehicle, transactions can be initiated and/or completed.
LPR will allow automatic selection of a vehicle in the system, provided it is a good enough match.
LPR can automatically complete a ticket operation provided enough information is known to do so. In this case, the ticket can be printed to an outside printer.
