The broader digital payments model we have been discussing with customers is the idea of a customer (or service centre) printed QR code which is self-serviced online through the council website. This is similar to getting a cinema ticket online. Our system would check the entitlements by property/user and issue accordingly. When the resident/commercial customer arrives at the weighbridge it would be scanned, and that unique transaction of customer/weight/image capture would be recorded, and the database updated for reporting and entitlement adjustment.
