The Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia (WMRR) will be hosting the 2020 SA Waste and Resource Recovery (#WARR) Conference from the 28-29 October 2020 at the Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide SA.
The year has been anything other than business as usual for both Australia and our essential industry. The Federal government has become actively engaged, export bans are coming, and we now have national calls to build on-shore markets for remanufactured recycled products to grow jobs, build Australian resilience and focus more on value rather than cost. Who would have predicted that in 2018 when we last met in Adelaide?
In line with the need to transition to a sustainable circular economy and manage finite natural resources, the conference theme for 2020 is ‘outside the square, inside the circle’.
